CD Projekt Just Released Cyberpunk 2077’s Roach Race Minigame For Free On Android

Just like Google’s dinosaur game, this is a nice auto runner that anyone can play

If you’ve been playing Cyberpunk 2077 recently, you might have noticed that patch 1.6 added playable arcade games, including a title called Roach Race. Well, the auto runner has moved from the virtual world of Cyberpunk 2077 to the Google Play Store, which means you can now install the minigame on your Android device, and best of all, Roach Race is free, because in totally free, no in-app purchases or ads to see. So, if you’re looking forward to playing a simple yet enjoyable auto-runner that offers similar fun to Google’s Dinosaur Game, then you’re in luck with CD Projekt’s latest mobile version.

As you can see in the screenshot above, Roach Race features simple pixel graphics. The gameplay is also quite simple, avoid obstacles to pass each level. So it’s not like it’s a genre-defining game or anything, but it certainly works great as a waste of time to revisit throughout the day. You can even compete for high scores if you’re looking for an excuse to see how you stack up against all the other players.

Overall, it’s nice to see CD Projekt promoting the recent 1.6 update for Cyberpunk 2077 with a free mobile game. After all, why waste the effort of locking down the new minigame to a solitaire version when the whole world can have fun on their mobile device, letting everyone know there’s a new patch for Cyberpunk 2077? It’s a win-win scenario for everyone involved, which I wish more developers realized, that mobile calling products are a great way to get people interested in your other products.
