Free apps for Android and iOS: Get these paid versions for free!

As we come to the end of another work week, here’s our second weekly edition of Free Apps of the Week! As usual, NextPit brings you a selection of great deals of mobile apps and games for iOS and Android that normally cost something but are temporarily available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

How did we compile the information required for this position? To get started, our team will check both app stores for you through deal sites or through apps like AppSales. from there, we select the free offers and list them for you as shown below. This means that we only collect recommendations for apps that are normally priced.

Here’s a note for our dear readers: unlike our other app reviews, there’s no quality control on our part in these free listings. Therefore, we don’t know if apps are protecting your data, if there are outrageous in-app sales, or if a game is just plain awful. So keep that in mind while downloading and check it on your own responsibility.

Quick advice: Whenever you come across an interesting app but don’t really need it yet, why not just install it? After that just delete it from your device. This way, the app will be part of your app library and you can reinstall it for free when you need it. This is a rightly reliable method to take full advantage of a short-lived promotion.

Temporarily Free Android Apps on Google Play Store

Temporarily Free Productivity/Lifestyle Android Apps on Google Play Store

  • 150X Pro Duplicate Remover ($0.49): With just one click of a button, this app claims to be able to remove all duplicate photos, images, videos, audios and documents from your phone. Quite handy to handle those duplicate images sent on WhatsApp on different channels if you ask me…
  • Correlative ($2.99): Introduced as a smart life diary app, it aims to help you figure out why you feel sick using a scientific algorithm. I strongly recommend that you always rely on a doctor’s diagnosis and not self-medicate.
  • VPN Pro ($2.99): So you have read the benefits of having a VPN on your smartphone. It might be the only time you can try it, but don’t expect too much from ExpressVPN.
  • EVP Phone Spirit Box ($1.99): So you feel the hairs on your neck stand up when you’re in an abandoned building, but don’t see anyone else around. Do not call the Ghostbusters, but rather use this app to get in touch with the spirit…
  • Great Ratings ($5.99): Create notes, notebooks and checklists with this app. You can also use it to set reminders for other tasks so you can finally shake off that reputation for being late.

Temporarily Free Android Mobile Games on Google Play Store

  • Free the Pharaoh ($0.99): I don’t know about you, but even if I was locked in a sarcophagus, I would like to be released from the chamber because I don’t like sharing my resting place with strangers at all, let alone for eternity !
  • Evertale ($0.99): Catch and evolve monsters! Hmmm, does this sound familiar? That’s what it’s all about, except you have characters drawn in Japan with extremely out of proportion figures.
  • Final defense of the castle ($0.99): Train heroes and pets while building towers to defend your castle against waves of enemies. It doesn’t get any more mind-numbing than that.
  • Stickman Warriors Dragon Hero ($0.99): It feels like a Dragon Ball Z clone, where you go against another opponent, Street Fighter style.
  • Zombie Age 3 Premium: Survival ($0.99): Yet another zombie apocalypse-themed game, you’ll have to escape hordes of zombies with one goal: to stay alive.
  • The Adventures of Becker’s Cat ($0.99): Discover this platform game where you play the role of a cat, moving and exploring the neighborhood while becoming a fiery tornado of paws and claws when dangers arise.
  • Rogue Hearts ($0.99): This is a rogue-like dungeon crawler, where you explore dungeons and earn loot by defeating evil boss monsters.

Temporarily Free iOS Apps in the Apple App Store

  • Corrector and red eye eliminator ($1.99): How many perfect photos have you taken that were ruined simply because of the red-eye effect? This application should solve this problem once and for all.
  • a typographic image ($1.99): Want to make your photos look like they’re made up of words? This app does just that.
  • Training dice ($0.99): Do you want to live on the dangerous side of things? Workout dice do just that, helping prepare your body for the random challenges of everyday life with a random exercise appearing with every roll of the dice. You have the choice between 63 exercises and 25 stretches…

These iOS games are temporarily free on the Apple App Store

  • Twist Spinner ($0.99): Have you lost your Twister spinner board? Don’t worry, this app will be able to fill the void.
  • Rogue Hearts ($0.99): Also available for iOS, this rogue-like dungeon crawler will let you explore dungeons and earn loot by defeating evil boss monsters.
  • Dream a little dream ($0.99): This old-school pixel-art style game has you drifting through cotton candy-colored clouds, where you’re a sleeping cat equipped with the most magical of all sleeping caps! Tripping!
  • Go on ! ($4.99): This endless runner has a weird twist, where you have to dodge obstacles and stuff on your morning run, while having to deal with constant wedgies!
  • Pancak3r ($0.99): This is the pancake version of Jenga. You will have to stack the pancakes as high as possible, without them falling. Can you do it?
  • EagleHero ($0.99): Nothing like being the hero of a game, and what more, the eagle? Instead of flying, you literally have to close the gap by tapping and holding the screen to strategically extend a bridge so you can access the next area.
  • girl city street fight ($0.99): Do you like a little cat fight? Things get way more brutal than the insults and gossip as the girls go to town in this fighting game.
  • Minesweeper ($0.99): Who can forget this classic Windows 3.1 game? Relive the old days on your iPhone, and it now even comes with multiplayer!

What do you think of our selection this week? Did you find any other cool apps or games on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store? Feel free to share your goodies in the comments.
