Scroll to To find. You will see an option called play sound. Press it, and Stopped will change to Playing. The phone will now start making a loud noise (and it gets louder the longer it lasts.) Just follow the noise until you find your device. Even if your phone is muted, the sound will still play. The FindMy app overrides the mute setting.
Once you find your phone, next you need to mute the noise. To do this, tap the on-screen alert and unlock your device. The noise will then stop. You will receive an email notification that the FindMy feature has been used, but you can simply remove it.
