- London-based electronics maker Nothing has scheduled a live reveal event for the Ear Stick on October 26.
- The Ear Stick will come in a new cosmetic type charging case.
- An FCC filing indicates that the charging case will come with a 350mAh battery.
On September 21, London-based tech company Nothing teased the Ear Stick during London Fashion Week. Now, the company has scheduled a live reveal event for its upcoming next-gen headphones on October 26.
During London Fashion Week, we got our first look at the Ear Stick charging case. Inspired by modern cosmetics, the charging case takes on a unique cylindrical shape, reminiscent of a lipstick container. However, nothing has escaped showing what its refreshed headphones look like.
But it looks like we won’t have to wait too long to finally see the Ear Stick officially. There has been no announcement on its website that it will be hosting a livestream reveal event for the Ear Stick. The event will be streamed on the company’s website on October 26 at 7:00 p.m. PT.
At the end of June, however, the Twitter user Mukul Sharma revealed a leak which showed that the earbuds remained virtually unchanged from a design standpoint. The only differences seemed to be the inclusion of colons and new branding.
Thanks to an FCC filing found the following week after London Fashion Week, we have at least a little more information to go on. According to the filing, the charging case will have a 350mAh battery, which will be smaller than the 570mAh battery in the case of the company’s first headphones. Additionally, the headphones will have a 36mAh battery, which will be a bit larger than the Nothing Ear 1’s 31mAh battery.
