Road Redemption brings crushing biker action to Android

Have you ever wanted to break your head with a pipe while riding a motorcycle? That’s exactly what Road Redemption offers now that it’s released on Android! Yeah! It’s piping time!

Android hyper-violence with Road Redemption!

If you’re looking for a game that lets you brainstorm your enemies at 80 miles per hour, this is it. Based on the classic arcade game Road Rash, this spiritual successor combines racing with brutal violence.

Available now on Android, and the other mobile platform, Road Redemption is a PC and console port of the game. Rebuilt for mobile with brand new touch controls, this is a pretty fantastic take on the game.

Although it does have some noise with its touch controls, it’s a pretty solid port. If you want some arcade fun, you should definitely check it out.

The best part about this new port is the fact that you can try before you buy! Downloading the game gives you access to some of the early missions. However, you will have to pay around £6.99 to play the whole game.

In our time with the game, we’d recommend skipping the game’s oddly jittery tutorial. We’re not sure why, but the tutorial doesn’t feel like the rest of the game.

Controller required?

Road Redemption mobile does not require a controller. On the other hand, he highly recommends one. However, in our testing, we found the touch controls to be fine for the most part.

On mobile, Road Redemption offers many different control options. If you find the acceleration difficult, there is an automatic mode. The same goes for handbrakes and steering.

But even with all those options turned off, we still found it to be fairly easy to control. Sure, a controller would make things easier, but it’s far from unplayable. In fact, it’s quite fun!
