WhatsApp is always working to improve and add new features to its drawing tools. In beta version 2.22.9.7 for Android last year, the application got additional possibilities, including new pencils.
Currently, WABetaInfo revealed that the next version will offer a new overhaul of the text editor. Below are the three new features that WhatsApp plans to add to the app.
WhatsApp gets a new text editor
Gizchina News of the week
The first is the ease with which you can change fonts by simply clicking on the alternatives available above the keyboard. It is important to note that even if it is already doable, the new interface will make it more efficient and faster.
The possibility for the user to change the orientation of the text will be another interesting feature. This will give you more flexibility on how your text is formatted in photos, videos, and GIFs by letting you select left, center, or right.
The text background can also change, allowing the user to choose a different color to draw attention to a particular section.
The feature is still under development and has not yet been released to beta testers. There is no estimated time for the arrival of the stable version. But with the start of the testing phase and if no significant issues are discovered, it will be released to the general public shortly.
WhatsApp for Android 2.23.3.4 Beta Changelog:
