WhatsApp is working on several updates to improve its user interface. IM is releasing a new shopping tools tab for select Android beta testers, WABetaInfo, the website that tracks the latest WhatsApp updates, has reported. The features of “Professional Tab Tool” will be available after users install the latest WhatsApp update.
The website also shared a screenshot of the new feature. Notably, users who can create a community do not have the camera tab as it has been replaced by the communities tab. The removed the camera tab on the pro version.
“WhatsApp has just removed the camera tab from the business version and a new business tools tab appears. A similar tab called “Business Home” was discovered during the development of the beta version of WhatsApp for Android update 2.19.117 released three years ago, but WhatsApp has never rolled out such a tab for business”, WABetaInfo wrote. In particular, the business tools tab is now available for certain companies.

With the help of the new feature, businesses can now access all business tools without opening WhatsApp settings. The feature was only released for certain beta users. According to WABetaInfo, if the Business Tools tab is not showing after installing the new update but you see two camera shortcuts, users should restart WhatsApp Business.
The feature will not be released on the client application as it is a professional feature. Other activations would be planned in the coming weeks.
Last week, WhatsApp also released an optional subscription plan for certain business accounts that install the latest Android and iOS app beta.
